Our Beliefs

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, and following biblically speaking, the Church is Christian individuals who have confessed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27, Romans 12:4-5, John 3:16, Ephesians 5:25)

We believe that God is omniscience, omnibenevolence, and omnipotence. He is the God who formed the heavens and the earth and made man from dust. God is a loving God and sent his only son that we may believe and not perish and have eternal life (Acts 17:24-28, Deuteronomy 4:31, Genesis 2:7, Psalm 19:1-4, Psalm 139: 2-4, Jeremiah 32:17, 1 Timothy 1:17, Zephaniah 3:17).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin who lived a sinless life and sacrificed his life at Calvary thereby accomplishing his redemption by God’s judgment against sin. Afterward, After fulfilling his mission on Earth, he ascended to heaven and sits on the right hand of God the Father (Hebrews 1:3, 12:2, 1 Peter 3:22, Acts 7:55-56, Isaiah 53:5, Romans 10:9, Matthews 1:18-25. Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person who convicts the world of sin, judgment, and God’s righteousness. The Holy Spirit is a being that has a will, mind, and emotion. He holds characteristics of God because he is God. When we submit to the spirit, we are given spiritual gifts/abilities to believers that submit to him. He dwells within us as we are God’s temple and through his spirit, God reveals things to us (Genesis 1:2; Acts 5:3, 4, Revelation 22:17, John 16:7, John 16:8, John 16:12-15, John 14:26; 1 John. 2:27, Romans 6:22, Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 5:6-11, 1 Corinthians 2:10-11).

We believe that salvation is the deliverance of sin that is a free gift of his grace. It is given to everyone but not will choose to inherit it. Because the price of becoming a follower of Christ costs our life which calls for us to die daily (1 Peter 1:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 1:16).

We believe that God formed mankind in his image, male and female were created, however, mankind fell into sin, and without being born again and repenting man will fall short and lose the kingdom (Genesis 1:27).

We believe that every Christ-follower must go out and preach the good news to make disciples and reach the lost (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 6:15, Matthew 9:37-38, Acts 1:8, Romans 10:15, Acts 28:28).

We believe that there is one true living God who exists as three persons: The Father, Son, And Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Corinthians 8:4, Galatians 3:20, 1 Timothy 2:5, John 6:27, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 10:30).
